Sumilon island is in the southern part of the Province of Cebu in the Municipality of Oslob. The island is private being managed by Sumilon Bluewater Island Resort. They offer day and overnight packages.

 We just settled in the island white sand area where its open to the public. We travelled from Cebu to Oslob and pump boat from Oslob that brought us to the island. It was already high-tide when we arrived at 11am. We were not able to see the sand bar of the island but it was noticeable with its white sand covered by sea water when we were just meters away.
