San Pedro Cutud - Its a re-enactment of Jesus Christ crucifixion annually during Holy Friday. Local and foreign tourists flock to witness the rites of devotees nailed to a cross.

It was all sweat with the very hot weather.

I got the chance to witness the last devotees for today that was nailed to a cross. I was told that earlier for the first time there was also a foreigner nailed to a cross.

How to get there?

Its is around 70 KM from Manila. Take the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and exit at San Simon Exchange from Manila or San Fernando Exchange if coming from north.

Ride a bus from Pasay or Cubao (van available) bound to Apalit Pampanga. Get off in Apalit and take the San Fernando bound jeepney.Just ask the jeepney driver to drop you off where you can ride wheelers (its what they call for sidecar) going to Cutod.
